Artists & Artisans
It’s the first Saturday of the month and we’re bringing in our artists and artisans again. This month we have familiar vendor faces and a few new ones too. Products in the lineup include pottery, terrariums, potted plant novelties, handmade cards & invitations, recycled furniture, baby items, jewelry, candles, soaps, loofahs, fragrances, and wood crafts.
General Store Product Alerts
The Central Market General Store is growing with new high quality, locally made products. This week we introduce 4 new products to the general store: olive oil, aged balsamic vinegar, caramel spreads, and a cookbook of 101 soups.
Just in time for the holidays we have the award winning caramel spreads of local food artisan Kristine Insalaco-Gaioni. From her menu of Lick My Spoon caramel flavors we are bringing in her basic caramel sauce which won a Good Food Award 2014, plus Espresso, Bourbon, and Lavender flavored caramel sauces.
Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar
From Sapore Della Vita, Kristine’s Italian import company, we are stocking several flavors of olive oils including traditional, Lemon, Rosemary, and Garlic. We will also have 2 different aged Balsamic Vinegar.
Cookbook of Soups
Monique Fisher is a French chef who learned the culinary arts from her Grandmother and Mother. She owned and operated a restaurant in Sarasota called Artists’ Palette Cafe where she developed and refined scores of soups. Since 1994 she has published her soups in her cookbook, Les Soups Fantastique. You can buy this fantastic book in the General Store. Now is a perfect time for soup!
Come out this Saturday and sample some soup from the cookbook.
